How do I clear the feedback prompt for a buyer that never paid?

It was one low priced item, price plus shipping may have been more than the guy wanted to pay, and maybe he lost out on other items to combine shipping. I don't know I never heard from the buyer. I'm easy to get along with, if communicated with. Anyway I don't want to leave negative or neutral feedback and create bad blood over a cheap sale. I can't leave positive because I don't know him, so, how do I get rid of the prompt to leave feedback?
