DELL COMICS, in their 'GIANT' line, had published two previous issues starring probably the most popular Man of the West of his day - The Lone Ranger. They were titled 'The Lone Ranger Western Treasury' , but in 1955 the title was changed to THE LONE RANGER'S GOLDEN WEST, for this third and final issue of the run.

In this 100-page issue, you get 6 stories of 12 to 20 pages, all illustrated by well-known western adventures artist Tom Gill. You also get 10 different one-page text features, also illustrated by Gill, covering Western history, lore, and everyday life.

This is a lovely copy of this square-bound Giant, with its strong binding, absence of creases or chipping, glossy covers and supple pages. It has bright colors and no foxing! There is, however a very tiny pencil inscription at upper left on the cover, and an inch-and-a-half tear on an interior page, that knock this down a grade. If you're looking for a quality copy for your DELL GIANT or LONE RANGER collection, this is it! Overstreet values this issue, in this grade of 8.0 VF, at $144.
