Stan Lee writes, and Jack Kirby brings his brand of action and excitement to the page, as they introduce the character of KA-ZAR of the Savage Land in "The Coming of . . KA-ZAR!" here in issue #10 of THE X-MEN. 

Even though Lord Kevin Plunder is not a mutant, Professor Xavier allows the X-Men to travel to Antarctica and enter the Savage Land in order to investigate the noble savage, Ka-Zar. They end up having to save Jean and Warren from being sacrificed by the savage Swamp Men.

This is a great-looking copy of X-MEN #10 that has a strong binding, supple pages, no tears or pieces missing and a nice solidity for its 53 years! The back cover has a ragged edge, a date stamp on the cover, and writing at the top of the splash page. But it is still an important key issue of the X-MEN in their first year, and it's only one of two available here on HipComic.  Overstreet feels $140 is appropriate for this grade -- we feel $133 plus FREE shipping is even MORE appropriate!
