Following guidelines from the most current Overstreet Guide to Grading Comics, we grade this as NM+ (9.6)! This item is nearly perfect with only minor visibles that keep it in, “no man’s land” between NM/MT and NM. Item looks, “as if it was just purchased and read once or twice.” There may be subtle bindery or printing defects. No bindery tears. The surface is flat with no surface wear. Inks are bright with high reflectivity and minimal fading. Cover is generally well centered and firmly secured to interior pages. A corner may be minutely blunted, but still almost cut square and sharp. There may be almost imperceptible indentations but there are no creases, bends or color breaks. There may be small, inconspicuous, lightly penciled, stamped, or inked arrival dates in unobtrusive locations. No soiling, staining or other discoloration. The spine is tight and flat with no spine roll or splits. The staples are original, generally centered, with only the slightest discoloration. No staple tears, stress lines or rust migration. Paper is off-white, supple, and fresh. No hint of acidity in the odor of the newsprint. No interior autographs or owner signatures. Centerfold is firmly secured. If there are any interior tears, they are slight.
