Item Information: World's Finest Vol. 2 #1-3 Superman Batman Worlds Apart DC Comics 1990 TMB4World's Finest Vol 2 was a limited series that was published in 1990, written by Dave Gibbons and illustrated by Steve Rude. The series ran for three issues where Batman and Superman join forces to stop the evil alliance between Joker and Lex Luthor.The series is a throwback to the anthology series titled World's Finest (Volume 1); in which Batman and Superman starred as the featured characters. The previous series was cancelled in 1986, due to growing conflict in the characterization of the heroes, which was much different from the original concept. This series returns to the team-up format between Batman and Superman under the "World's Finest" slogan, although the narrative is adjusted to fit the modern characterization of both heroes.*Please note we put a generic grade of 9.2 VF/NM on all of our listings of comics but most are in better condition with very few being worse.**We use the Stock Photo provided by the publisher, due to listing the items before release date.
