Obviously a very hard(scarce?) book to find. Serious DC collectors have always maintained that 1947-1951 DCs are extremely hard to find in higher grade or any grade-Worlds Finests especially!. This comic has reasons why it is hard to find.First the 15 cent price made it difficult for many kids to buy. Nearly all comics were 10 cents! Secondly the spines were fragile and as being square bound often disintegrated with normal reading.DC ultimately realized this-thus this is the LAST square bound issue.The book has 4 small tape strips which serve no purpose. They could easily be removed professionally for minimal cost.IMHO this should truly keep the book in unrestored condition as your are taking something off,not adding to the book.The spine is INTACT. Grade-it would be in the mid grade F range.without the tape...The pages Off White to white.Nuff said.Is this 70 year old comic book one of the best around structurally-you decide!
