The Huntress stars in "Chasing Rainbows" by Joey Cavaleri and Mark Beachum, as she finds the Urban Legend of The Sea-Lion is very real!
316 - June 1984 - Looks NM-, but fold at bottom right fc. VG - Wonder Woman fights Tezcatlipoca, freeing the Amazons of South America from his mental domination and finally defeating the god when she shatters an image which bound him to his mortal host. The Amazons ask Wonder Woman if she is really Artemis, and tell her that Hippolyta told them she was dead, but that the queen has lied before! Wonder Woman asks for answers from the women! The Huntress stars in "The Roar of the Ocean!" by Joey Cavaleri and Mark Beachum as she is kidnapped by the Sea-Lion!
317 - July 1984 - VF+ - "Amazons!"sees Sofia Constantinas is mesmerized into entering the gates of the Underworld, but Steve Trevor and Glitch manage to free her. Meanwhile, Wonder Woman learns from Atalanta, the queen of the South American Amazons, that Hippolyta was given her onus by Aphrodite to teach her how to love, though she refused to do so until the birth of Diana! The Huntress learns of the death of a friend--and begins the hunt for the Nightingale!!
318 - Aug. 1984 - VF/NM - "Paradise Burning!" is one of Kurt Busiek's very 1st Comic Book stories, as Wonder Woman is transported to the 63rd Century to save the Amazons from a race of pig-men who have inhabited their island, and from their abandonment of Aphrodite's ways! art is by Justice League of America Artist Irv Novick! "Knee of the Idol!" sees the final showdown with the Assassin known as The Nightengale!!
