Missing # 12 & 13 for complete series. Warriors of Plasm was a science-fiction comic series published by Defiant Comics in the early 1990s. The series was created by Jim Shooter, who launched Defiant after leaving his previous company, Valiant Comics. The comic is notable for its innovative concepts and its role in the legal troubles that eventually led to Defiant's demise. Marvel Comics threatened Defiant with a lawsuit over the name's similarity to a UK character named Plasmer. Defiant changed the name to Warriors of Plasm, but Marvel continued the lawsuit. Defiant ultimately won but had to spend over $300,000 in legal fees, which severely impacted the company's finances. The series was one of Defiant's flagship titles but ended abruptly in 1994 when the company went out of business.Seller Information
