Thus he divides the gems up, giving one each to a number of unlikely protectors, and one to a party he keeps a secret. The final gem, The Soul Gem, is always with him.Together with Warlock, these protectors are the Infinity Watch. By distributing the gems thusly, he hopes that they will be safe from ever falling into a single person’s hands again.But that was not to be. Someone has begun to systematically overtake the members of the Watch, gathering their powers to himself. Warlock must stop him or risk the destruction of the galaxy.
