The year 1985 marked the 30th Anniversary of Disneyland, and GLADSTONE COMICS, the then-current publisher of Disney-content comic books, decided to celebrate the event with a full reprinting of the original Dell Giant issue of 1957, UNCLE SCROOGE GOES TO DISNEYLAND!

The new packaging - starting with a new fully-painted version of the original Tony Strobl cover - cleverly inserts Uncle Scrooge and other members of the Disney 'cast' of cartoon characters, into visits to the various 'lands' of the Magic Kingdom and the characters that reside there. Included are the Carl Barks story, "The Fantastic River Race", two stories by Paul Murry that take place in Storybookland (with Pinocchio) and in Fantasyland with the cast of 'Alice in Wonderland'.

Tony Strobl provided the linking pages and two 20-page tales set in Tomorrowland and Adventureland!
