As a 40 year serious collector with an obsessive compulsive disorder for truly high grade comic books I base my strict grading on one THING, Can the book pull the said grade from Third Party Graders Like CGC, PGX and CBGS. Ive submitted many books for grading and I have also cracked out plenty of CGC and CBCS books for my personal collection over the years.

Early comic book version of the famous "transforming" robots. Now in possession of the hydrothermocline, an energy generator, the Decepticons plan to use the generator to repair the dimensional bridge to Cybertron. Meanwhile, Megatron, obsessed over Optimus Prime's death in the last issue, goes on a rampage in "Gone But Not Forgotten." Script by Bob Budiansky and art by Don Perlin & Ian Akin & Brian Garvey.  (PC 9)

*  Tough call on this nice book.  A one owner book that I pulled from the stands 30 years ago.  The book features like new quality. aside from some light corner wear on the bottom corners, including a couple light wrinkles on the UPC box, the book displays virtually flawless qualities with very minimal wear.  Im going to stay in the VFN range with the book and call it a 8.0 VFN
