As a 40 year serious collector with an obsessive compulsive disorder for truly high grade comic books I base my strict grading on one THING, Can the book pull the said grade from Third Party Graders Like CGC, PGX and CBGS. Ive submitted many books for grading and I have also cracked out plenty of CGC and CBCS books for my personal collection over the years.

Early comic book version of the famous "transforming" robots. Injured and in car mode, Skids has had enough of being a warrior and a hero. So when he is found and repaired by a human, Skids decides that he is perfectly content to be that human's car in "Showdown." Script by Bob Budiansky and art by Herb Trimpe & Ian Akins & Brian Garvey. (PC 9)

*  Another beautiful high grade newsstand book I cherry picked from the stands 30 years ago!  The book features Like New Quality with VERY minimal to no wear.  I believe conservatively the book pulls at least a 9.2 NM- from any grading company, and quite frankly it's a solid 9.4 NM candidate in my opinion. Tough to find high quality newsstand copies like this.
