Over the decades, DC has cancelled and relaunched TEEN TITANS many times, but the group that debuted in 1981, as written by MARV WOLFMAN and powerfully illustrated by the late GEORGE PÉREZ, arguably was the most popular of them all, judging by the tidal wave of fan interest and momentous sales!  

Here is the acclaimed fifth issue in which the Justice League of America is shown in flashbacks alongside ROBIN, WONDER GIRL, SPEEDY  CHANGELING, CYBORG, STARFIRE and RAVEN! . . . and the Big-Bad of the series, TRIGON, is introduced!

CURT SWAN steps in to give PÉREZ a bit of a break, and is very ably assisted by the series' regular inker, ROMEO TANGHAL!

In "Trigon Lives!", the TEEN TITANS go up against both the evil GORONN, and then his master,TRIGON - the demonic father of RAVEN! TRIGON unexpectedly enters the NEW TEEN TITAN'S dimension and begins to destroy the Earth. RAVEN reveals why she formed the TITANS, and ultimately agrees to return with TRIGON to his dimension if he will spare New York City and the TITAN's world!

This is a great copy of NEW TEEN TITANS #5, with a strong binding, supple pages, glossy covers, minimal toning, and no tears, stress lines, or pieces missing.
