Valkyrie, finally returned to her original body, wants revenge on the Enchantress. She tells Dr. Strange to cast a spell to hold the Enchantress in place while she kills her. Strange complies, although the Defenders that are here (Spider-man, Gargoyle, and Beast) are worried that Val's bloodlust may lead her to actually murder the goddess.

Dr. Strange flies through the dimensions, looking for Hellstrom, Hulk, and Namor. Suddenly he is sucked through a similar portal and finds himself face to face with them and the other Defender they thought was dead--Nighthawk, but in a strange new costume!

With cream/slight heavy-cream tint pages and white inner covers. There is a store stamp at the base of page one which does not affect the artwork and a tiny tear at the top-edge of the back cover. This book has very nice eye-appeal and deep rich color on this all-time-classic Spidey cover key! We have adjusted the grade accordingly.
