Writer Roy Thomas comes up with another exciting adventure for the depleted team of GOLIATH, WASP, HAWKEYE, - and newest member, BLACK PANTHER, are joined by more original members to possibly bestow membership on the newest recruit!

Following the previous issue's introduction of THE VISION, here in the story "Even An Android Can Cry!", the red-skinned android wishes to become an AVENGER, so CAPTAIN AMERICA, THOR and IRON MAN all attack him to test his power. He passes the test and they make him a member of 'EARTH'S MIGHTIEST HEROES' ! VISION remembers he was created by ULTRON to kill the AVENGERS, who all go to GOLIATH's lab and learn how he created the robotic villain, but was attacked by it and made to forget the entire incident. They also notice that WONDER MAN's memory tape is missing and they realize that the VISION is made up of WONDER MAN's memory and brain patterns!

Story by Roy Thomas, and great art - as always - by John Buscema, who also illustrated the iconic cover that was used repeatedly over the years in promotions for THE AVENGERS!

This is a great copy of this 55-year old comic, with a strong binding, supple pages, minimal toning and good color.. We're conservatively grading it at 7.5 VF-, for which Overstreet suggests a price of $54.
