We get a sly glimpse, for the first time, of one of the AVENGERS arch foes . . . none other than ULTRON!

Writer Roy Thomas comes up with another exciting adventure for the depleted team of GOLIATH, WASP, HAWKEYE - and newest member, BLACK PANTHER!!

In ". . And Deliver Us From -- The Masters of Evil!", Avengers Mansion caretaker and butler JARVIS betrays the AVENGERS to the new Masters of Evil, by explaining the layout of the HQ and its traps. The BLACK KNIGHT tries to warn the AVENGERS of the betrayal but is captured in a trap. However, his horse ARAGORN escapes and races to deliver the message.

But the AVENGERS do not receive the message in time, and they are attacked and captured by the Masters of Evil - KLAW, WHIRLWIND, MELTER and RADIOACTIVE MAN. The CRiMSON COWL, from whom they were taking orders, turns out to be a robot, and the true CRIMSON COWL seems to be JARVIS himself!

John Buscema gifts us once again with his exciting and powerful artwork! BLACK PANTHER's full-face mask was redesigned two issues previously and now shows the lower half of his face.

This is a nice copy of this 55-year old comic, with a strong binding, supple pages, minimal toning and bright color. It unfortunately has a long crease down the right side of the front cover that reduces it's grade by a couple of points. But the interior art is unaffected. We're very conservatively grading it a 7.0 FN/VF, for which Overstreet suggests a price of $59. We're going to make this issue a bit more affordable for you at just $35 . . with our always-L•O•W shipping of only $2!
