STEVE DITKO, the creator and main artist for SPIDER-MAN comics since 1962, handles pencils, inks and plotting here for AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #16, as the Wall-Crawler takes on the Circus of Crime!

In the lead story, "Duel With Daredevil!", when the Circus of Crime comes to town, they advertise that "Spider-Man" will be appearing, in an attempt to fill the big top before they rob it. SPIDER-MAN  sees the advertisements and decides he will show up. He gets hypnotized along with the rest of the audience, but unfortunately for the Circus of Crime, DAREDEVIL is in attendance and immune to the Ringmaster's hypnotic hat.

This is a fairly decent copy of SPIDER-MAN #16, some ragged edges, a slight bit of spine roll, ball-point pen writing on the first page, and a date stamp on the scuffed and dimpled cover. Those are the main detractors, but the binding is strong, there are no missing pieces and the pages have normal  toning.  Overstreet prices this issue in a grade of 2.5 GD+ at $94 (largely due to the appearance of DAREDEVIL) . . .  but we think $77 is much more reasonable, and gives you this issue at the best price on HipComic!!
