The tail end of the classic long-running series, Millar's run is the hardest to complete next to Moore's due to lower print runs. I finally finished my set this year, read & enjoyed it. It's Millar, so at times he pushes your boundaries or crosses lines. However, as the series goes on, he improves as a writer. The main course of the storyline is the introduction of elemental parliaments -- Stone, Waves, Fire, etc. While DC had been exploring elementals in these realms prior to this, Millar takes a fresh approach. After rebooting the series with Morrison in the four-part first arc, Millar uses many stand-alone stories to progress the overarching plot. At the end, we see Swamp Thing facing off against everyone, wondering if his human side is lost forever. A unique & enjoyable run with plenty of shocks and twists.

Nice copies from my collection, mostly FN or better, VG to VF/NM overall. I collected to read so the condition varies. Bagged & most boarded. Non-smoking home. #153 is around VG (solid but some ink rub on cover), #171 around VG/FN (a few significant handling marks but nice)
