SUPERMOUSE ("the Big Cheese") was one of Nedor's (Standard's) longest-running funny animal characters, having made his debut in COO COO COMICS in October 1942. This is the ninth issue of his own comic, from October of 1950!  The character actually predated MIGHTY MOUSE, who was originally named Super Mouse as well, but a court ordered the name change!

The 52 pages here in issue #2 contain four SUPERMOUSE stories, the first being drawn by his most memorable artist, Milton Stein. Also present are a 'Butch and Buttercup' tale by Disney animator Jack Bradbury, 2 Dizzy Duck text stories, and a short Buster Bunny gag.

This nice, tight, 70-year-old perfect example of 1940s Funny Animal silliness has weathered well - pages are clean and not brittle or faded, and the binding is strong.  Graded conservatively at 6.0 FN.  Overstreet says $30 for this condition . . but we'll let it go for $14!!  And with our always L•O•W shipping, you'll be flying as high as SUPERMOUSE!
