All Scans and Photos are of the actual books. NO Stock PhotosAll Books come bagged and Boarded.
As a 40 year serious collector I have acquired a vast inventory of most major Marvel and DC titles, as well as many Independants, Graphic Novels, Trades and hard Cover books. I believe my grading to be conserative and based on one THING, Can the book pull the said grade from Third Party Graders Like CGC, and CBCS. Ive submitted many books for grading and I have also cracked out plenty of CGC and CBCS books for my personal collection over the years. I will securely and promptly ship all orders and will be more than happy to answer any questions or concerns you may have. I will continue adding more comics, cards and books to my store here. Thank You for stopping by for a look.
* A great Neal Adams wrap-around classic cover featuring 21 super heroes in dynamic flight gets this beautiful 100-page giant off to a soaring start (see inside back cover for cover key/diagram and cool info about each hero). The lead off story, "Powerstone!" is a Superman reprint from Action #47 (April, 1942) with none other than Luthor as Superman's challenger. Luthor pops up again and faces death in the electric char in "When Titans Clash!" from Superman #17 (July-Aug. 1942). Next up is a great Doctor Fate reprint from More Fun Comics #57 (July, 1940), with Howard Sherman art. Other Golden Age reprints include Hawkman from Flash Comics #24 (Dec. 1942) with art by Sheldon Moldoff; a great Black Condor story from Crack Comics #18 (Nov., 1941) with Lou Fine's top-notch art; a Spectre reprint illustrated by Bernard Baily; a Starman story, "The Menace of the Invisible Raiders!" from Adventure #67 (Oct., 1941) by Jack Burnley; another great Lou Fine illustrated story, this time the Ray from Smash Comics #17 (Dec., 1940); then Superman wraps up the issue in "Superman's Greatest Feats!" from Superman #146 (July, 1961) with art by Al Plastino. 100 Pages
* Up for your consideration and viewing pleasure comes this popular Bronze Age classic Superman book. The book features a wrap around cover by the legendary Neil Adams. This 100 page Super Spectacular issue is in solid condition with No major creases, tears or writing. The book lays flat with a perfect cover wrap and nice eye appeal. With some minor wear around the edges and corners I believe the book is in the 5.0 - 6.0 Grade range with any legitimate grading company. The interior of the book is quite nice as well with nice subtle white page quality.
