synopsis: The first attempt to revive the concept after Ostrander's definitive five-year run, this series was short-lived but fun.  Giffen kicked off the series by using the former "Injustice League" aka "JL Antarctica" from his classic JLI run -- only this time under the guidance of Frank (Sgt.) Rock!  Another old JLI concept, the island of Kooey Kooey Kooey, also rears its peaks.  

Not a humorous title, although the dialogue is snappy and the situations could be a little outlandish, the focus is on danger and action.  And of course, they call it the Suicide Squad for a reason.

Grade: VF to NM 

condition: Original owner.  Beautiful copies from my personal collection, read and stored with care.
