Stray Bullets by David Lapham #5-19 Lot of 9Diff From Comicbase: _"_Stray Bullets kicks off at two o’clock in the morning, sometime in the summer of 1997. Two mob henchmen were driving to the woods to dump a body when their car blew a tire. The younger mook, a low IQ-type named Joey, was sent into the woods with the body while the older one, Frank, began changing the tire. Then the cop drove up. Frank had almost talked his way out of the situation when the cop saw the bloodstains. Before the cop could act, Joey appeared and shot him. That’s when the evening began to get truly out of hand. Before sunrise, the car would be stuffed with bodies, the pair would blow up a diner, and Joey would declare his undying love for a corpse. David Lapham hails from Valiant (where he helped create Rai, Harbinger and Shadowman) and Defiant (where he co-created Warriors of Plasm). In Stray Bullets, he brings readers a memorable crime saga in classic pulp style." The Warehouse of Wonders presents a lot of Stray Bullets issues by David Lapham. This series takes place over a stretch of decades and tells the criminal misadventures of a large cast of characters than can vary in each story-arc. If you're up for some thrilling stories not in the spandex tradition, look no further. All comics about Fine condition. This lot contains: #5, 6, 7, 8,, 9, 11, 14, 15, 19 End of Description Read this legend for an understanding for how our grading system works: M = Mint a perfect, unread comic. White pages, sharp corners, perfectly aligned cover, tight staples, sharp square corners, no creases, marks, fading of any kind - no flaw whatsoever. We have never actually graded a book as Mint. to Quote Phil Seuling: "Mint is a flavor of chewing gum." Nm = Near Mint This is what most comics look like when purchased new, presuming no harassment on the racks. Tight staples, glossy cover, sharp corners, no marks, white pages. Any flaws are HINTS of a flaw. Maybe look very closely and you the perfectionist will see a miniscule mis-alignment of the cover with the pages, or the hint of the rounding of a corner. Run your fingers down the spine and you may feel a crease which isn't visible to the eye. Those are the kind of things which mean that nearly all "as new" comics are graded as Near Mint rather than Mint. You will notice that in our 1000s of listings, we don't use this grade either.
