When he turns out to be not so kind, she is on the run again. Mugging an heiress gets her on a train bound for New York. The only problems is, she didnt reckon on the heiresss fiancée being in the next compartment. "Chapter Two: Claws of death". 8 pages. Part 2 of 6. Story by Bruce Jones. Art by Al Williamson. Surviving the flash flood, Jill and Cliff set off on her real mission, finding her missing father. What they find first is a diamond mine. A booby trapped diamond mine. 32 pages. Full color.

Ya just gotta love these racy covers of the past!  Very Taboo back in the day, this is the second issue in the 6 part Somerset Holmes Series. The book is structurally solid but does have some obvious wear, mainly a couple diagonal folds and spine wear. With a perfect cover wrap the book has great eye appeal. The interior features very nice white page quality. Tough call on this classic book. I believe it to be in the 4.0 VG grade range.  The black cover also makes the book very difficult to find in higher grades.
