Richard, as a teen-ager was one of the founders of the original San Diego Comic Book Convention in 1970. This famous event took place at the U S Grant Hotel and was attended by about 150 fans, many of whom are now prominent in the comic book field. Richard was able to finance the original event with proceeds from his comic book mail order business. Richard passed away in early 2012 and we are proud to offer his 4 page mail order price list from 1977, featuring back issue Marvel and DC Comics.
