Item DescriptionFrom Dearfield Publishing in Chicago, IL -- "Red" Rabbit #6, the second bi-monthly issue in this title's 18-issue, 3-year run.
"Red" is an earnest cowboy rabbit, a bit less competent than he believes. His side-kick is Punchy, the dim sidekick. The lead story with "Red" is untitled, but features the great early artistry of Harvey Eisenberg, from around the time he was pumping out gorgeous layouts for the animated Tom and Jerry and before he went on to fame with Huckleberry Hound, Yogi Bear and other Hanna-Barbara characters in comic books!
Other stories in this issue star 'Petey Pinfeathers', 'Officer Mutt', 'King Looey the Lion', 'Cubby Scouts', and 'Slapsy Squirrel'.
There is a somewhat faint rubber stamp on the cover, and a small triangular piece missing from the edge. Otherwise, the binding is strong, the pages are supple, and there is minimal toning on this 73-year old comic - a solid 4.0 VG. What does Overstreet say? $12. What do WE say? Just $5.00, with our always-L•O•W shipping!
