REAL SCREEN COMICS was the predecessor to 'The Fox and the Crow' getting their own comic.  It ran for 128 issues from the Spring of 1945 to May 1959.  The Fox and the Crow were the headliners, supported by Tito and His Burrito, and Flippity and Flop, the cat and canary chase comedy.

This 52-page issue, #35 from February of 1951, contains 10 'Fox and Crow' stories , a 'Tito and His Burrito' story, 2 text pages, and a 'Flippity and Flop' adventure with artwork by Bob Wickersham, plus half a dozen house ads and cartoon advertisements!  And chuckles too many to count!

This copy has admittedly seen better days, but is in pretty nice shape for a 72 year-old comic! There is ample evidence that one owner during its long life tried to fix things up with tape: the spine has tape, and a section of 12 interior pages has had a 2" tear protected with tape.  But none of this detracts from the great cartooning inside!  We grade it a conservative 2.5 GD+.  This condition - for this issue - lists for $21 in Overstreet.  We think $12 is more like it, coupled with our L•O•W shipping fees!
