Astounding stories 1936 dec-surreal cover-yakima pulp vg this copy is from the famous yakima collection. A large pulp magazine collection was discovered in yakima, washington in the late 1990s. These pulps are characterized by their uniform high grade and bright white paper quality. In most cases the yakima copy is the highest grade copy known to exist of a particular pulp magazine issue. Most issues are in the hands of high grade collectors or museums and will not become available to other collectors in the future. This issue comes with the original certificate of authenticity. Cover art by howard v brown. This copy looks beautiful with a glossy cover but has been downgraded due to lite moisture staining on right side of entire pulp. The staining is generally in the border area and does not harm the text. It is barely noticable on the cover. Grade: vg sku: u2-67-056
