Item Description
"The Twain Shall Meet!" Written by J.M. DeMatteis and Bob Budiansky. Art by Bob Budiansky and Danny Bulanadi. When Prince Namor discovers that Jacqueline has been kidnapped, he immediately heads to her rescue. But dark and powerful forces conspire against him. If the Sub-mariner fails, the peace he has worked so hard to build between Atlantis and the surface world could be destroyed. Featuring cameos by the Fantastic Four, Doctor Strange, the Defenders, Peter Parker (Spider-Man), and Doctor Doom. 32 pagesWe grade this as FN (6.0) as it has some, but not all, the characteristics of the guidelines described in the most current Overstreet Guide to Grading Comics. This item can be described as an above average item that shows minor wear but is still relatively flat and clean with no significant creasing or other serous defects. Eye appeal is somewhat reduced because of slight surface wear and accumulation of small defects, especially on the spine and edges. Item looks as if it has been read a few times and handled with moderate care. Some accumulation of minor bindery or printing defects is allowed. Minor wear is apparent on the cover/exterior, with minor to moderate creasing. Inks show a significant reduction in reflectivity. Blunted corners are more common, as is minor staining, soiling, discoloration, and/or minor spotting (foxing). Penciled, stamped, or inked arrival dates may be present. A minor spine roll is allowed. There can also be a 1/4” spine split or sever color break in the spine. Staples show minor discoloration. Minor staple tears and a few slight stress lines may be present, as well as minor rust migration. The paper is dark tan to light brown and fairly supple with no sign of brittleness. No hint of acidity in the odor of the newsprint. No interior autographs or owner signatures. Centerfold may be loose but not detached. Any minor interior tears are in the margin.
NOTE: The FN grade is the most difficult grade to identify; it allows a wide range of defects to occur and that allows an increased level of subjectivity.

“Make an offer” is always an option, so take advantage of that. I may be in a great mood. Don’t be discouraged if we counter-offer or outright do not accept. Nothing personal; strictly business. However, the more comics you make offers on, the better the chances we accept.
