Plastic Man (Patrick "Eel" O'Brian) first appeared in 1941 in POLICE COMICS #1, originally published by QUALITY COMICS, and later acquired by DC COMICS. Created by cartoonist Jack Cole, PLASTIC MAN was one of the first superheroes to incorporate humor into mainstream action storytelling.

Here in his 'official' Silver Age debut, PLASTIC MAN stars in "The Dirty Devices of Dr. Dome!", written by Arnold Drake and illustrated by the legendary Gil Kane! PLASTIC MAN, aided by his pals Gordy and Mike, tangle with the diabolically mad Dr. Dome, who employs Professor X to cause havoc around the city using Dome's new devices, as other parties franyically race to take down PLASTIC MAN themselves.

This 56 year old copy of PLASTIC MAN #1 is in 4.0 VG condition - it has a couple of cover nicks, small cover creases, and a minor 1/4" front cover edge tear. The centerfold is detached but in place. But the spine is strong and nothing mars the great, unusually humorous Gil Kane artwork inside!
