Collects the early "Marvel-Era" Sub-Mariner solo stories, beginning with Namor's FF appearances. The main storyline is "The Quest", in which Warlord Krang has successfully staged a coup, leaving Namor to find Poseidon's jeweled trident in order to reclaim his kingdom.
Classics all around...I remembered seeing some of the "animated" versions as a kid, with that great theme song. FF by Lee/Kirby, most of the solo tales are illustrated by Gene Colan, many inked by Subby co-creator Bill Everett!
