The funny thing about art, Mr. Rucka, is, once it's created and released to the public, the artist has little to no control over who engages with it or what is done with it (within intellectual property law). < addressing the "this is not for you" commentary. I think I still have a copy of the first LAZARUS (2013) and I'll revisit/reread it if I do. I don't recall following through to the end of the series but that first issue was well-written and drawn. Mr. Rucka, in his comments at the end of this issue, takes issue with the current state of the world, specifically the current US president, to whom he refers only as "47." All within his right to do and say. I've heard people say a comic is only worth what someone is willing to pay. I will test that premise here to see if greed is at play. Or just curiosity. Or fun. Yes, $24.95 is MY asking price for this issue at this time. Thanks.
