Item Description

Story and Art by David Petersen. With the food and medicine shortage still unresolved, hares and riders depart from Lockhaven, but not to redistribute food throughout the territories; instead they ride on a desperate search and rescue mission for Celanawe and Lieam, still unaccounted-for. A dramatic climax as this final chapter of Winter 1152 sees the mice honoring the death of one of their own.

We grade this as FN+ (6.5) as it has some, but not all, the characteristics of the guidelines described in the most current Overstreet Guide to Grading Comics. This item can be described as an above average item that shows minor wear but is still relatively flat and clean with no significant creasing or other serous defects. Eye appeal is slightly reduced because of light surface wear and accumulation of small defects, especially on the spine and edges. Item looks as if it has been read a few times and handled with moderate care. A small to moderate accumulation of minor bindery or printing defects is allowed; one or two more than FN/VF grade. Minor to minimum wear is beginning to show, possibly including some wear at corners. Inks show a moderate to major reduction in reflectivity. Blunted or abraded corners are beginning to appear. Minor accumulation of creases is apparent. Penciled, stamped, or inked arrival dates may be present. Slight discoloration, staining or minor spotting (foxing). Slight to minor spine roll. There can also be a 1/8” spine split or color break in the spine. Staples show some discoloration. Slight to minor rust migration. Paper is tan or dark tan, but not brown and may be less supple than higher grades. No hint of acidity in the odor of the newsprint. No interior autographs or owner signatures. The centerfold may be slightly loose. Any minor interior tears are in the margin.
