Marvel super-heroes #1 1966-daredevil-sub mariner-avengers-fn/vf history was made when marvel issued this important comic book. What a key title! The silver age was quickly taking form, and the parade of superhero characters being issued by marvel was an important contribution to the world of comics that we know today. The superb stories reprinted here include avengers #2 by stan lee and jack kirby, plus daredevil #1 and "the human torch and sub-mariner meet!" tale from marvel mystery comics #8. Still a delight to read, over forty years after it first appeared. An important and impressive addition to any comic collection. Condition is bright and glossy! The front cover is especially nice, with deep rich colors. We have carefully counted every page and the book is complete. We feel it is a fine / very fine with cream to off-white pages. Our consignor bought this comic when it was new and never read it, which is particularly important with squarebound 68 page comics like this. We are providing large scans of the front and back covers so that buyers can see for themselves how nice this is. There is some "stack wear" on the back cover but this comic remains exceptional.
