WHAT A MONTH THIS WAS FOR MARVEL! We are delighted to offer this fifth issue of Marvel Science Stories. It begins with a wild SF cover, and includes stories inside by Harl Vincent, Kummer, Winterbotham and others. Fred Pohl has a LOC, and Frank Paul has at least two nice illos. Jack Binder has a two page illo, also, which includes a beautiful earth woman who is a manacled captive of aliens. Any collector should be proud to own and display this rare pulp. CONDITION is rather attractive. There is almost no wear from reading or handling. The front cover colors are still deep and rich. The spine has full paper. It would look good on a collector's shelf. There are a few tiny edge tears, and the original owner made a few very tiny, very neat pencil notations (such as who the artist of a drawing is). The primary flaw is that the original owner also hand-trimmed the cut edges of this pulp (it does not affect any printing inside). The interior pages are very supple, and are a nice cream to off-white. Aside from the trimmed edges, this example is quite attractive.
