Collects the entire Jurgens run -- put together with the Waid omnibus, they cover the whole 1998 series. Marvel thoughtfully included the Annuals & interim issue (#24) so you aren't missing anything.
I wasn't sure how I'd like this volume, as I know Jurgens mainly from his great work at DC. It turned out to be a good but quick read. The main storylines involve a secret mission for Nick Fury, who's AWOL from SHIELD leaving Sharon Carter in charge, a new villain tied to Cap's past, and a love triangle featuring a no-nonsense defense attorney & of course Steve & Sharon. The Falcon pops up a few times, and naturally the Red Skull returns.
The art is initially by Andy Kubert, then Jurgens steps up to do the majority of the illustrations, with some nice fill-ins by the likes of Ordway and DeFalco/Frenz.
