Chrysler imperial .1926. Lavish brochure full color nice vf this is the original printed brochure for the "new" 1926 chrysler imperial, in astonishing close-to-new condition! It measures about 11" x 16", has 16 lavish interior pages and front and back covers. This brochure is about as deluxe as they come, and with good reason. The chrysler imperial is a legendary car, and clearly chrysler knew it from the beginning of production. Serious collectors estimate that a high grade example of this car, if one oculd be found, would bring $200,000. Or more in today's market. The entire line of imperials is photographed here in full color, with an amazing specs page and much more. Condition is literally stunning. That something so large could still have such a "new" look is little short of amazing. Our consignor has had it for about 40 years, and clearly whoever had it for the almost half century prior to that kept it nearly perfectly. There is some barely visible discoloration on a small part of the back cover, and other than that the only flaw we see to mention is that the two staples have rusted over the last 84 years (this has resulted in some rust on the centerfold, causing it to become loose). Since the overall look and feel of this historic brochure is nonetheless close to new, we grade it very fine. Scans: we are providing large scans so everyone can see how nice this is.
