Mel gibson returns to the role that made him famous – max, a former law enforcer but now bitter wanderer of post apocalyptic australia. In this third installment, max is lured to bartertown and hired to eliminate master blaster, a threat to aunty, the town’s ruler. However, max is betrayed and sentence to exile in the desert where he meets a group of abandon children who believe max is their savior, the one who will lead them out of the wilderness !
