Fair - A copy in this grade has all pages and most of the covers, centerfold may be missing, if it does not affect the story, but price should be reduced; a book in this condition is soiled, ragged and unattractive. Creases and folds are prevalent and paper quality may be moderately low. Spine may be split up to 2/3 its entire length. Staples may be gone, and/or cover split up to 2/3 its length. Corners are commonly slightly rounded. If coupons are cut from front cover and/or back cover and/or interior pages the book will fall into this grade. Up to 1/4 of front cover may be missing. These books are mostly readable although soiling, staining, tears, markings or chunks missing my interfere with reading the complete story. Very often paper quality is low and may have slight brittleness around the edges but not in the central portion of the pages.

This rich series which unveiled untold tales of DC's most beloved heroes comes to an end with a classic battle between the Atom and Chronos, the Time Thief. With a chronal bomb throwing off time-altering waves, Ivy University swiftly becomes awash in dinosaurs and robots alike. It's up to Ray Palmer, the power-packed Atom, to set things aright.

Todd DeZago and Rich Faber unlock the essence of Palmer, who is, at once, super-hero, scientist and teacher. Exhibiting courage, curiosity and compassion, the Atom reveals why he truly earned a seat at the Justice League of America table. Here the young and impressionable Snapper Carr is the recipient of Palmer's wisdom. Carr takes from the cataclysm brought on by Chronos an important lesson courtesy of the size-changing scientist.

Interior artist Drew Johnson takes off from the fabulously and vibrantly painted Tony Harris cover by conveying scene after scene of chaos and peril. Johnson succeeds in showing the reader the human side of a clash of super-beings a reminder that not all of the DC Universe can call on meta-powers to escape danger.
