JLA (Series Began 1996) Issue #64 comics in Fair condition. Published by DC Comics
.
Fair - A copy in this grade has all pages and most of the covers, centerfold may be missing, if it does not affect the story, but price should be reduced; a book in this condition is soiled, ragged and unattractive. Creases and folds are prevalent and paper quality may be moderately low. Spine may be split up to 2/3 its entire length. Staples may be gone, and/or cover split up to 2/3 its length. Corners are commonly slightly rounded. If coupons are cut from front cover and/or back cover and/or interior pages the book will fall into this grade. Up to 1/4 of front cover may be missing. These books are mostly readable although soiling, staining, tears, markings or chunks missing my interfere with reading the complete story. Very often paper quality is low and may have slight brittleness around the edges but not in the central portion of the pages.
JLA (1996) #64
"Golden Perfect, Part 3 of 3." Subjective reality has wrested control from objective truth and the consequences are keeping the JLA on their toes. Commonly held beliefs suddenly hold the same efficacy as scientifically proven fact. For short periods of time, the moon is indeed made of green cheese. The South does rise again to fight the North. Vishnu sleeps with his lotus in hand; a flower that will destroy the universe if it blooms. And Wonder Woman, covered with squirming "lies," seeks help to set the world right from the Rama Khan of Jarhanpur, the man she's wronged when she betrayed the truth and broke her golden lasso.
The Amazon Princess must work out the antithetical nature of the two conflicting truths which confront her -- a young boy must be reunited with his mother in exile but the young boy must remain in Jarhanpur as its chosen messiah. The JLA arrives to lend a hand but are constantly in flux, meta-morphed into peoples' ideals of who they are. Still, with all of these hindrances, Diana proves she can mend her Lasso of Truth with the help of the land itself. Writer Joe Kelly pushes the League to its limits and beyond with each new issue. Meanwhile, Doug Mahnke captures all of the beauty and power of Wonder Woman in a truly remarkable way.
