A whole year before his own show debuted on the CARTOON NETWORK, GREEN LANTERN starred in this promotional comic that must have been putting out feelers to gauge interest in the coming show.  This #0 . . which was followed 13 months later by the first of 14 issues of GREEN LANTERN: THE ANIMATED SERIES when the TV show finally started airing. 

This entire issue was REPRINTED in GL:TAS #1!  They must have figured people would have forgotten it a year later!

It tells the tale of Hal Jordan and fellow GL Kilowog discovering a Power Ring floating in deep space --- a baited trap by an evil cadre of Red Lanterns.  The issue is drawn and colored in the style of most of the DC Universe animated shows, that was crafted and popularized by Bruce Timm and Co. at Warner Bros. Animation.

It also includes a Cartoon Network model sheet of Hal Jordan and an over-simplified 4-step tutorial on how to draw Green Lantern!

This is a pristine copy at a price too good to pass up if you're a total GL fan!  Less than Overstreet, and unheard of LOW-LOW shipping!
