The Original Golden Age GREEN LANTERN, Allan Scott, makes an appearance here alongside the Silver Age GL, Hal Jordan, in a  John Broome story beautifully and dynamically illustrated by the incredible Gil Kane!

In "Our Mastermind, The Car" (an obvious play on the title of the NBC sitcom 'My Mother, The Car' that was cancelled just the year before), the Green Lanterns of Earth-1 and Earth-2 are baffled when Doiby Dickles' old taxi Goitrude takes up crime and becomes the leader of a gang! They discover that Sinestro was controlling the cab with his mind, and that he plans to steal the Central Power Battery from the Guardians.  They team up to show the renegade Lantern that it is not a very nice thing to do!

This is a good-looking 54-year old Silver Age GREEN LANTERN -- no creases, tears, pieces missing, or abnormal toning. The binding is strong, the colors are bright . . there is just a bit of a 'tired' air about it, with a few tiny stress lines, scuffs, and bent corners, but nothing that detracts from the art or the story. And there seems to be a tiny red line on the cover in front of Sinestro's nose!!  We'll call this a 4.5 VG+ . . . which Overstreet values at $23 . . . but we're pricing it at just $13. . with our always-L•O•W shipping!
