GIGGLE COMICS sold nearly 1 million issues every month in the 1940s to kids who couldn't get enough Funny Animal wackiness to satisfy their oddball cravings!  The GIGGLE stable of characters like Bungle of the Jungle, The Duke and The Dope, Rusty Rabbit, Spencer Spook, and others, delivered the laughs!

Artists plying their trade at night after working in animation all day include Dan Gordon, Ken Hultgren, Ken Champin, Jack Bradbury and Bob Wickersham. This issue contains primarily Ken Hultgren art and story (nearly every story in GIGGLE, over the years, was both written and drawn by the same creative hands).

By the mid-50s interest in these funny animal anthology titles was beginning to wane, and efforts to boost readership were emerging - like the different colored borders around each story as seen here in issue #96, and adding SPENCER SPOOK's name to the cover. GIGGLE COMICS would cease publication just 3 issues later.

You get 5 funny animal stories in this issue, with all but one featuring the art of Disney animator Ken Hultgren.

This copy, we think, is in 6.0 FN condition for its age of 71 years! The binding is strong, there are no ragged edges, tears, creases, or pieces missing. The pages are supple and minimally toned.  None of which detracts from the artwork of professionals and the GIGGLES it engenders!!

Obviously read and enjoyed -- but respectfully! •••It's the only GIGGLE COMICS #96 available here on HipComic!
