FEATURE FILMS MAGAZINE was a 1950s, 52-page bimonthly, published by DC COMICS, which spotlighted current theatricals and the Hollywood stars who graced its covers.

Here is FFM #4 from September of 1950, the last issue of a a short 8-month run. The lead feature is a 26-page cartoon adaptation of "FANCY PANTS", a July 1950 Paramount release starring Bob Hope and Lucille Ball in the second of their 4 appearances together on the silver screen.

Comic book great HOWIE POST illustrates the gag-filled comedy where Hope, through a misunderstanding, has to imitate a British nobleman in order to gain the affections of Ball for all the wrong reasons. But they gradually fall in love, and all ends well.

This issue contains 6 one-page gags by Henry Boltinoff and Harry Lampert, as well as another adaptation - this time, of "THE GOLDEN GLOVES STORY" illustrated by the great BOB OKSNER.

This copy is beautifully tight and well-cared-for, without any creases or tears, and is in really incredible shape for a 75 year-old comic! The binding is strong, the printing is excellently in register, and all the artwork is admirably superb!  The intact cover has lost its gloss (if it ever had any!), it has a very tiny piece missing from the bottom right corner, and the book has been short cut at the bottom.

We grade this copy a conservative 5.5 FN-.  This condition - for this issue - lists for $180 in the Overstreet Price Guide.  We think $105 is much more like it, coupled with our FREE SHIPPING!
