In "Where Stalks The Sandman?", the FANTASTIC FOUR return to the Baxter Building from their battle with DR. DOOM, and realize that there is an intruder hiding within. It turns out that the SANDMAN (in a newly-designed costume) has returned with augmented powers (from the technology that he had previously stole from Reed). Meanwhile, the SILVER SURFER gets his powers and board back and destroys DOOM's castle in revenge. Crystal leaves the INHUMANS to find the HUMAN TORCH. And MR. FANTASTIC gets sucked into the Negative Zone during their battle with SANDMAN and is presumed dead!.

This is a beautifully fresh copy of FANTASTIC FOUR #61, with no visible faults or flaws that we can see!. It has a strong binding, all pages are supple and bright, and minimal toning with absolutely no foxing!   We're agreeing with the auctioneer from whom this was originally purchased, and grade this a 9.0 VF/NM , which Overstreet values at $105 . . . but we're pricing it at just $70 to give you the best value for this issue in this condition on HipComic!
