The engagement of REED RICHARDS and SUE STORM is on everyone's minds and lips as "Behold! A Distant Star!" begins. But SUE STORM is upset that her father's killer is still on the loose, and REED promises to track him down and make him pay! So REED is able to commission a special space craft with NASA that would allow them to travel through sub-space to the SKRULL homeworld to confront the murderer!

After major battles with political and military SKRULL foes, the FF are victorious and permitted to return to Earth to proceed with REED and SUE's wedding preparations!

JACK KIRBY once again proves his mastery of all-out action and excitement, with it all on full display here. He even includes one of his well-known 'photo montage' pages of the FF ship traveling through space!

This is a well-read copy of FANTASTIC FOUR #36, with a worn but strong binding (separated about 2" at the top), stress lines, a few ragged edges, moderate spine roll, a small piece out of the cover edge and a bit of handwriting at the top of the title page . .but all pages are supple and bright, and minimal toning for its 60 years, with no foxing!

We're grading it a 4.0 VG , which The Overstreet Price Guide values at $52 . . . but we're pricing it at just $36 to give you the best value for this issue in this condition on HipComic!
