It's 'THE WORLD'S GREATEST COMIC MAGAZINE'!!! - - and this may be a Near-Great copy of #27!

From 1964 - Stan Lee and Jack Kirby deliver a one-two guest star punch with appearances by both the Sub-Mariner and Dr. Strange!

In his abandoned undersea kingdom, the Sub-Mariner broods over his desire to have Sue Storm as his bride. Namor disguises himself and travels to the surface world, where he bests the Human Torch and The Thing and kidnaps Sue Storm to be his Queen! Mr. Fantastic returns to the Baxter Building with an engagement ring, but before he can pop the question, he learns Sue has been kidnapped!

They ask Dr. Strange for his help . . . and then things get violent and tense!  Kirby goes full-throttle near the end . . .  and occasional inker George Bell tries to keep up with him!

This copy of Fantastic Four #27 does have a strong binding, but many pages have ragged edges (although no tears or missing pieces) and normal toning after 56 years!  There is a bit of handwriting at the top of the splash page, but no faults affect the Kirby artwork.  We conservatively grade this a 4.5 VG+.  Overstreet says this semi-key issue is valued at $96 in this condition . . but WE say you can purchase it for $60, plus our incredibly L•O•W shipping costs . . which include FREE SHIPPING for additional purchases!
