* With the Monarchy losing its battle against the Lord High Papal and the powerful Instrumentality, Dreadstar visits King Gregzor and is asked to help in finding an assassin stalking the king in "The Hand of Darkness." First appearance of the mysterious Z. Back cover is a full color pinup of Oedi. Script and art by Jim Starlin.

Ahhh... The mid eighties and a much simpler time in the world.  While the Independent Titles were in their heyday, Marvel's Epic Line was also exploring pushing the boundaries of the hobby with titles like the popular "Dreadstar" series by legendary Comic creator Jim Starlin. Offered here for your consideration is this Early issue from the series. The book still has like new qualities with some very minor wear, mainly some light wear on the back. The book has original Cover Color and gloss as well as a perfect cover wrap giving it nice eye appeal. The interior is complete with no cut outs, writing, etc.. I believe the book to be in the 7.5  VFN grade range with most grading companies.
