This volume, titled "Song of the Ark," continues the story of Allen Walker, a 15-year-old boy searching for Innocence in a fictional 19th-century England setting. The narrative follows Cross Marian's plan to finish off Tyki Mikk and the Millennium Earl's scheme to build a new Ark using data downloads from the old one. Allen's encounter with a mysterious apparition that asks him to play the piano sets up a unique challenge—he must oblige, but there's one problem: he never learned how!
