Cameo appearance of the characters that make up the Amalgam Universe, the merged together characters of DC and Marvel (ex. Darkclaw = Wolverine and Batman).
Issue no. 3: In this issue, Robin, the Boy Wonder, takes on the mutant firecracker, Jubilee. Present Green Lantern, Kyle Rayner, pits his ring and willpower against the Silver Surfer and the Power Cosmic. The anti-heroine, Catwoman, goes whip-to-sai against the deadly ninja, Elektra. Two of the toughest hombres in any universe, Wolverine and Lobo, throw down. The Amazing Amazon, Wonder Woman, battles the weather manipulating mutant, Storm. The Amazing Spider-Man takes on Superboy. Then, it's the Main Events as the Last Son of Krypton, Superman, goes toe-to-toe with the monstrous strength of the Incredible Hulk, and the Sentinel of Liberty, Captain America, battles the Dark Knight Detective, Batman, below the streets of Manhattan. In the end, it is the new hero known as Access who might possess the key to saving both universes...Amalgam!
Background: Twenty five years ago, DC and Marvel teamed up for the ultimate crossover min-series. DC published issues #1 and #4 and Marvel published issues #2 and #3. Heroes and villains from both universes squared off against their closest counterparts. The winner of select duels were decided by the readers who cast ballots leading up to the crossover event. Who wins the matchups? There's only one way to know!
