As a 40 year serious collector with an obsessive compulsive disorder for truly high grade comic books I base my strict grading on one THING, Can the book pull the said grade from Third Party Graders Like CGC, PGX and CBGS. Ive submitted many books for grading and I have also cracked out plenty of CGC and CBCS books for my personal collection over the years.

This book is a tough call on the grade. Viewing the front you would have to think the book is in the 9.0 VFN/NM range. The back cover has what appears to be a band or strap impression mark across it.  It appears to be from when the distributor originally bundled the books. Its a beautiful, almost flawless book. Im going to dock it a full grade for the band mark on the back and call it a 8.0 VFN
